For my website I used the software Wix. It is a very useful with pretty much everything you could want such as audio devices to play the song in your music video and set up links to other websites. I did find trouble with the ITunes button though as it wouldn't let me link it to the playlist I wanted. so I had no link for that button. There are hundreds of backgrounds you can chose from so you can get pick the perfect one for you. There gallery designs are very good as I really liked their one with a thumbnail tab at the bottom which lets the viewer choose through all the photos. The slide show option on the home page for the merchandise was very effective as this was simple to showcase all my merchandise. You can also colourise the photos as well like I have on the homepage. There is built in social media tabs like Facbook, Twitter and YouTube which are very easy to find. These social media icons were important as rock band should have links to social networking sites so they can interact with fans. I would say that it took a long time to add the sizes on each merchandise product though. It would be good if wix allowed the sizes to go automatically on each piece of clothing. Bur overall I would say wix is user friendly and once you have used a couple of times it is very easy to use and the results of the finished website are great. I will be using wix in future. 

 

For creating the merchandise for the store page I used photoshop which again was pretty simple as all I had to do was put the band's logo on items of clothing I downloaded from Google Images.
