The only main software we used to edit was Premiere Pro. We stayed with this software from last year as it is very easy to use and very simple to understand. The timeline is very easy to extend or decrease clips or re-arrange foootage.  We created many effects using this software. It was very easy to decrease the frame rate (from 24 to 12) to have a jittery effect on the footage. The colourisation process didn't take us that long for us to confidently know how to do it. The colourisation is very effective as it made our footage more eye-catching. We did however need to use YouTube to find videos which explain the Super 8 effect to us. The tutoirial videos on YouTube have been a easy way to learn how to add certain effects to premier pro and without it we would have struggled. We started to the understand the super 8 effect in Premiere Pro and it started to have an effect on the footage. However the blurring rate made the footage a bit too strong so we had cut down on some of the additional blurs we had implemented. The reverse effect we used a few times was also very simple as we would just have to enter 'reverse effect 200%'. However getting the timing right of the reverse effect to make it in sync was a bit tricky but this would be probably cause most people trouble because it just a tricky thing  to get right. Throughout the editng process we used the editing style of cutting to the beat of the music.
